I have several ongoing research projects, including (1) independence and social engagement among older people in disadvantaged communities, (2) ages and stages: theatre and representations of ageing, and (3) popular beliefs about health, illness, and healthcare. I am also researching issues in: (1) narrative and social representation theory, (2) critical psychology, (3) qualitative research methods, and (4) community arts.
